and i'm up in the air, so baby hell yeah

so today was one of those go, go, go days i seem to have on quite a regular basis. long and tiring, but at the same time keeps me busy. 

had to wake up and go to school and hour early for leadership, ugggggh :( not too fun, but we're doing a section on public speaking and the lady who evaluated me said i did really good :) yay, and she said i had a nice voice? which was really quite unusual for me, but at least i know for sure now my voice isn't as annoying as i think it sounds when i hear it on a video. 

physics first class wasn't exactly the way i wanted to continue my morning, but it had to be done. luckily we've just begun to learn about forces so the work isn't hard at all yet. hopefully it doesn't get too much worse, although i'm willing to bet it definitely will.

then was english. i actually think i might be a total weirdo but i love love love love LOVE english. i feel like it's my one subject where there are no wrong answers and all i have to do is write my opinion, or what a story makes me feel like or what it means. my favorite part though is just being able to be creative. i just love it so much. and even though some people think my teacher is a psycho i think she's quite wonderful. although she doesn't seem extremely creative or full of wisdom she keeps things very organized and is pretty strict, so i'm thankful that gives me the opportunity to really enjoy work in her class without 30 kids around me trying to talk to each other and some annoying person near me trying to strike up a conversation. when i'm writing i like quiet, that is all. maybe a little jack johnson, but only if i'm feeling extra creative. 

my afternoon classes i was just really tired for. in french i had a test which really wasn't very fun at all. je deteste la fracais parce que c'est tres mal. it actually isn't that bad, but just not my favorite. 

then in pre-cal i was just so tired i kind of gave up... i got my work done, then i was just done. 

...jk i couldn't be done because i had basketball and soccer practice... basketball is so wonderful :) finally actually playing good again. awwee yeahhh. PROVINCIALS IN LESS THEN 5 DAYS! stoked :) 

and i even managed to find a little time to hang out with Jin in there, so it was all good :)

PROVINCIALS 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!! awwwe yeah we beat the 4th ranked team in the province, so now we make it to provincials! :) today we play the 2nd ranked team for 1st and 2nd to determine our seed, SO STOKED! WOOOOO! and even better provincials are in kamloops, so it's going to be a 5 day sleepover with my team! ahh yeahhh :) basketball is good. life is good. good is good. :)

my life is quite boring. therefor i really don't have too much to write about. unless however, you would be interested in hearing about 6 hours of school, or basketball practice and such. or maybe hanging out with jin. cause i seem to do that a lot. but other then that i'm at a lack of things to blog about. same, same, same, every single day of my life... oh well, at least i have a life.

i need a break/rest/SOME TIME OFF. that would be wonderful. getting to the point where i'm getting quite moody here. sometimes you just need some time to relax. and sometimes, one day of relaxation just isn't good enough. that's why i was looking forward to this weekend. it'll be my last weekend off in a pretty long time! jk we'll just plan a basketball practice for friday and saturday. no big deal. not like i have a life/plans/sleep to catch up on. GAWWWD. sometimes i tell ya.

hawaii i need you now more then ever. it would be quite nice to lay out on a beach and not have to worry about anything.

hey, hey, something's different in my world today

good day. lessons learned today:

1) never make a bet with your boyfriend on the cinnamon challenge. he will be able to swallow an entire tablespoon of cinnamon, while you are left crying and coughing cinnamon all over your kitchen.

2) talk as much as you can in bio about hawaii when you have a sub. it will make you even more excited to go. only 55 more days! :D

3) while reffing a grade 8 tournament, try not to make awkward faces. people may be taking pictures... and those pictures may just end up on facebook.

4) once again, never make a bet with your boyfriend. never make a bet with any boy for that matter. they will go to any lengths they can to win. any.

it's okay.... we're all just really really awkward people.

successful weekend of basketball in vancouver. although there was a lot of team drama, we got everything figured out and ended up having a ton of fun :D and i'm playing really good again! yuuuuus! :)

such a busy week!

my school hosts this huge basketball tournament called superball, with both girls and guys teams. so the teams together were all hyped for it and such! it was quite fun :) but not necessarily my games... because our team's one of the better teams on the island.. so there wasn't exactly much competition. and we ended up easily getting first and second because a team dropped out last minute so we had to play on both sides of the pool. so yeah, not much fun there. but the guys team was a whole different story!

so they had to play this school called d.w. poppy, and they were the dirtiest team ever! like one time one of our players fell on top of one of theirs, so then their player just grabbed onto ours legs and wouldn't let him up! like the ref didn't even call it! so dumbbbb:( and then one purposely tried to gouge one of our players eyes out and he like ended up with this huge gash underneath his eye, and there were so many other things but too hard to explain them all. anyways our boys ended up winning in TRIPPLE over time by 2 points. so stressful! but such a good game.

oh and jin asked me to prom. just hope it's not awkward... since like i'm grade 11... but yaaa... YAY! :D

ya so my team didn't have an awesome team picture :( but the guys team looked stoked enough that i had to use theirs. like they were just so happy! so proud of ma boyz :') hahhhaha

tired of being what you want me to be, feeling so faithless

so um um um um it's looking like there could be potential for something with jin :) i am kind of really stoked about it! :) like we just talk so much lately! and like both of our basketball teams were on the mainland of a tournament this weekend (girls in chilliwack and boys in abbotsford) so after our game since we won we had so much time to kill we went to see the boys game. and like pg got a technical in the first quarter, so his coach wouldn't let him play the rest of the game... but he was SO HOT when he was playing... like omg. just wow. and it also makes me stoked that he texts me all the time, happy timeeees! :) 

so yeah... our basketball tournament we just played so well! like we're kind of like the underdog team this year, because this is the first year our schools actually had a really good senior team! so i'm pretty excited to see where we go. i mean we beat a provincial ranked team by 20 points! we aren't even ranked! we ended up with second in the tournament though.. cause in the finals we played the number one team in BC. we gave them a good run though, they kept their starters on the whole time! considering this year is kind of more of a development year, next year our teams going to be... well... amazing. 

oh and i'm stoked cause i got player of the game, and i just had a really good weekend for playing. lot's of points! :) and tons of playing time! i just was in such a good focus the whole time! 

OH! and we also had an lg picture contest with the senior boys team. yeah... i think we won.. even though they deny it!

FIRST PLACE! hahahaha i love my basketball team. we do the stupidest things, and our coach is ridiculously hilarious, but at the same time he knows his stuff, and knows when to be serious. it just makes our team great.

like in our first game today our coach gives us this pep talk and then he ends it with 'you better win fuckers'. like we just all started laughing so hard. and he's pretty young, and i guess maybe good looking? i mean i wouldn't say so.. not attracted to older guys (unless they're like demarcus cousins ;) ) so he starts like wheeling this girl in between games, like she was some girls sister or something, so funny. he like directed our team to go sit in the locker room while he could put his moves on. he ended up getting her number, and then we joked around with him about them having sex in the girls change room, it was kind of too far... but just so funny.

so yeah anyways.. got to hang out with kyle tonight, we shall see where this goes. but i'm in a little bit of a dilemma here, because the guy i've been 'pretending' to flirt with?..yeah i'm kind of actually starting to like him... yeah... and we've been texting a lot and just i don't know, something clicked!  i guess we'll see how this big mess figures itself out.

for now i'll just listen to my sublime and be happay :)

so 3rd place isn't bad. we only lost one game. and we had an amazing second game, like i don't know what came over my team but we blew them out by like 40 points! and the great thing is, although we're playing senior we only have two grade 12's on our team, the rest are 11's. so when we go up against these big grade 12 teams and beat them it's a pretty good feeling. we should have won that one game last night though... we'll get em next time.

so yeah, that's pretty much my weekend. basketball, basketball and more basketball. you could say it's back to the boring life? but really, i like it so much better. so once again, basketball's taken over my life and i really don't mind at all.

oh and while going through a house&home magazine last night i've decided i'm going to have to live on a beach. and my house has to have huge ass windows! it's the only way to go.

move like a jellyfish, rhythm don't mean nothing, you go with the flow ya don't stop

so i had a bio test today, and it was on like jellyfish, sea anemones, corals and that kind of stuff. and i realized, the ocean is actually the most beautiful place. like especially when you go to hawaii, or somewhere else tropical and snorkel in the coral reefs! last year on a spring break trip in maui i stumbled upon the biggest sea turtle i've ever seen! it was the size of me at least and i'm 5'11 ! i swam above it for a while, just watching it. i was completely fascinated by every single move it made. and in the coral it was just so gorgeous! especially with the blue water. eventually i had to swim back in because it was moving too far out, but still i always remember swimming with that turtle.

it kind of made me want to consider marine biology as a career. of course not where i live though, because on the west coast of canada the thing they study the most is salmon. but somewhere tropical, where i could watch all the colourful creatures, and go scuba diving in tropical waters! sound like a pretty great life to me.

i won a starbucks card this morning. one of my extra credit classes is leadership and today they wanted to do something fun for us to make up for all the before school classes. so they organized a scavenger hunt around the school, funnest thing ever. there was a lot of mad running, and my group won by like 2 minutes. yeaaaa. time to hit up starbucks between classes tomorrow.

oh and other highlight of my day, my assistant coach said i was his favorite girl at practice tonight. yay :) haha even if it means nothing, little compliments always make you feel good!
