PROVINCIALS 2012!!!!!!!!!!!!!! awwwe yeah we beat the 4th ranked team in the province, so now we make it to provincials! :) today we play the 2nd ranked team for 1st and 2nd to determine our seed, SO STOKED! WOOOOO! and even better provincials are in kamloops, so it's going to be a 5 day sleepover with my team! ahh yeahhh :) basketball is good. life is good. good is good. :)

i believe that everybody is allowed to be guilty of loving one ridiculous top 40 pop artist. not saying that all artists on the top 40 are ridiculous, but some are quite unoriginal sounding with lot's of bass and repeated phrases. so with saying this, my one singer that some people can't stand, but i have been completely in love with since i first heard him is bruno mars.

i remember i heard the lazy song long before everybody was singing it and they played it on every radio station over and over and over (but liking a song before it got popular is an entirely different topic) i just loved the chill vibe from it, and from there grew my love for this crazy hawaiian crack head. i admit, when i first heard 'it will rain' i tried so hard to hate it because it was just another one of those dumb twilight soundtrack songs, but i just couldn't resist and gave in to listening to it on repeat. okay well maybe not repeat.. but many times.

oh and i have to admit... i know the lyrics of every single song on doo-wops and hooligans, shhh!

my life is quite boring. therefor i really don't have too much to write about. unless however, you would be interested in hearing about 6 hours of school, or basketball practice and such. or maybe hanging out with jin. cause i seem to do that a lot. but other then that i'm at a lack of things to blog about. same, same, same, every single day of my life... oh well, at least i have a life.

and i am quite excited for hawaii. not too much longer now! wooo! :)

i will never understand valentines day. i guess you could say i'm one of those non believers that think's it's just a commercial holiday. i mean like come on people, show your love every day! not just when feburary 14th rolls around. if anything it shouldn't be about getting that 'someone special' a present, it should be about showing your love to everyone. unfortunately, it's turned into one of those material driven holidays, like christmas has become. why can't people just appreciate each other in ways that don't involve fancy gifts, boxes of chocolate, and pretty flowers. maybe do something nice for somebody who's loved you all your life, like your parents? i'm sure they love you a lot more then a boyfriend/girlfriend ever could. and if that's not the case then go ahead, show your love to somebody else. just show somebody you appreciate them without spending money. maybe it will mean more. i still hate valentines day.

what about all those single people out there? what to they get? maybe your best friend is single, and as you're getting all that love from your boyfriend/girlfriend you're ignoring the person that loved you way before them, right in front of your face. don't chose your significant others over your friends at a young age, you'll regret it. appreciate people who don't have a person in their life to be appreciated by. even a small gesture counts. after all, valentines day is one of the days with the highest suicide rates. 

but with that being said, jin is still awesome :)

stole my heart and made it your own

i need a break/rest/SOME TIME OFF. that would be wonderful. getting to the point where i'm getting quite moody here. sometimes you just need some time to relax. and sometimes, one day of relaxation just isn't good enough. that's why i was looking forward to this weekend. it'll be my last weekend off in a pretty long time! jk we'll just plan a basketball practice for friday and saturday. no big deal. not like i have a life/plans/sleep to catch up on. GAWWWD. sometimes i tell ya.

hawaii i need you now more then ever. it would be quite nice to lay out on a beach and not have to worry about anything.
